This new design has a capability to absorb collision energy in case of accidents
which will have protection to drivers.
More space is provided in driver’s cabin which will significantly enhance
driver’s comforts.
It gives elegance and ambience to cabin.
The driver will have very clear frontal view of the signals and track.
On trial basis first train will be handed over to South Central Railway and
after examining the feed back, it will be introduced in other areas.
In future all DEMUs will have this kind of Aero-dynamic nose cabin.
The first train is likely to be moved out from ICF by middle of March.
To enable the driver to have comfortable drive the cabin will be air-conditioned.
